Jamie Moyer grew up in rural Pennsylvania and has played electric bass since the early 1970's.  Little did he know at the time that the bass guitar was still a “teenager” itself having been introduced on a mass basis by Leo Fender during 1951.

jamieIn 1976, Jamie read about Leo Fender's new Musicman Stingray Bass in a magazine, ordered one sight unseen from a local music store and awaited its arrival in early 1977. He still plays his Stingray today and it became the standard of the industry. Fast forward to 2004 - Jamie discovered his new instrument, the N/S Stick, a combination bass and baritone guitar. After waiting for two and a half years, he finally got his in October 2006 ... could this become the new standard? We'll know in about 20 years ...

Jamie's main axe is the N/S Stick, a collaboration between Emmett Chapman (the inventor of the Chapman Stick), and Legendary bass innovator Ned Steinberger. He also proudly endorses Kahler Tremolo Systems.

Jamie is currently performing with Souther California's premier contemporary country show band The Ranch Rockers.
